Learn to create this stlyish looking text effect.

1) Open a new document with while background and type out your text in a tech-looking font in black. We need not do anything else here. The rest are all done using the blending options.


2) Right click the text-layer and choose blending options.

3) First, check the gradient overlay and use a Dark to Light gradient. I used this :


4) Then, Select Stroke and use 2 pixels of white stroke. Note that i am using White because my background is white. If you use some other background color, you should use it as the stroke color too. For best results use White.


5) Then choose Outer Glow. Choose black as Glow color and change the blending mode to Normal. Reduce the opacity to around 25%.


6) You are done. Optionally you can add a drop shadow as i have. Opacity as 50% and 1px as the distance.
